Medication Overuse Headache Tools
Experiences with diaries on headache diagnosis and monitoring
Grazia Sances and Natalia Arce Leal, from the Headache Unit, IRCCS “C. Mondino Institute of Neurology” Foundation Pavia – Italy share the institution experience with headache diaries. They also highlight their benefits, in order to provide the physician with important information about clinical features, frequency and temporal patterns of attacks, triggers and use of drugs.

MOH pathogenesis and pathophysiology
The underlying mechanisms that lead to the development of Medication Overuse Headache are still widely unknown. Nevertheless, various pathophysiological abnormalities have been reported and they seem to have an important role in initiating and maintaining chronic headache. Marta Allena y Giorgio Sandrini explain some influential factors in the development of MOH.
